The much talked about movie, ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ was banned in Nigeria on Friday 20, 2015 and was ordered to be removed from Nigeria cinemas.
The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) has revealed that public interest was the reason behind the banning of the movie.
According to Nation Newspaper, in a statement released over the weekend, the NFVCB reaffirmed its resolve to attend to submitted movies with utmost dispatch and the display of due diligence in its role as the industry gatekeeper.
